Review and comments of Submit2Please.com Submission Services
I'm a reseller for the submission services. Since you can go to their site directly and bypass my reselling the services, I have nothing to gain by this post. As this service gains more satisfied customers it will not be hard to find those that have used it and will be willing to tell others about it.
We are also resellers for 1ps.biz. They to provide hand submissions to a smaller list for much less money. While I think 1ps.biz is worth the money, I don't think the two services compare, either in quality of the work done, or the extensiveness of they lists they use.
We also offer a free submission list that you can use to submit your site. I have suggested to Submit2Please that they make their list public, since those of you that want to do the submissions yourself are not going to pay them or anyone else anyway, but that is their decision.
We have just completed our 3rd submission project (500 directories) with them and I can tell you they provide what they say. They do submit to a few sites that were not appropriate for us, and they do submit to some places that may not be worth the trouble. We also asked them on one occasion to NOT submit to DMOZ for us, since we prefer to take care of that ourselves. This seems to be a fairly new service and some of their staff is still learning all of the things you need to know about submissions. If you use their service, you should set up an email address and monitor the submission replies you get and let them know if a site seems really bad, requires payment, or requires return links when you are not willing to provide them. They have been VERY responsive to all of my requests and (many) suggestions.
I'm sure some critics will say that most of the sites they submit to are not worth the time/money, but I disagree. Even if a site is small and their link is not "direct", they may send you some traffic over time. And if these small sites don't get submissions, they may not grow and survive. Help these sites with a listing and they may help you with some return traffic.
Sure, you can submit your site yourself, but if you just use our list and submit to about 200 places, I think you will find that it takes several days to a week to get through them all. You have to fill out the form, but also read the "rules" to make sure your listing has a chance to be accepted. Take it from me, I have submitted about 100 site over the past few years and it takes me about 24 hours on average.
To wind up this post, anyone may contact me for more information and questions. I do highly recommend that you do some keyword research and optimize your site first, but the optimization really does not play a part in directory submission. What it will do is help you to write the best optimized description for your directory listings.

My experience with submit2please has been a negative one, I was promised a submission of 150 directories (for 49 dollars) out of which some where obviously to be rejected, but the majority would go through not only this but u are also promised a submission service to high ranked directories. So I accepted!,
However it has now been nearly 2 months since the submission took place and I have had 26 confirmations out of which12 of the links to the directories don’t even work. “Web page not found!” Surprisingly the ones that have confirmed so far are of low page rank and of little relevance to my site.
Once you create an account with these guys u get assessed a project/account manager for all queries and doubts, I have tried contacting this person twice but no response, I was also promised a report at the end of the submission service but some how, this has yet to reach my inbox. I sent them another email a week ago, asking for the report but I have yet to get a response, so as u may understand I have finally lost my patience which is why I am warning other users to be aware of this so called professional service,
Hi Yan,
I have just forwarded your thoughtful comments to my contacts at Submit2Please.com. I am sorry that you have had such a bad experience and have to start posting to blogs about it. I don't blame you and I am glad you posted on my blog.
I don't know what the problems are that have caused you to have this kind of experience, but I think that the company will respond and try to provide you with something to make you less dissatisfied, if not very happy. If they don't, I will join you in speaking out against them since I cannot stand poor customer service.
They have been a good company in the past and I think there may be reasons for what happened to you, although they may not be good reasons. Any person or company can make a mistake and the true test comes in how they deal with the mistakes that have been made.
I expect they will post a message here once they get my message, but if they don't, please post again and let me know.
Thank you,
Chris Nielsen
Hello Yan,
My name is Rahul Rungta, Operations Head of Submit2Please.com. Chris has been an old friend, support and guide of Submit2Please.com and I must thank him first for giving me an opportunity to speak directly to our customers through his blog.
I read your comment and am saddened to hear the results we have given you. Most of our clients have been happy with our service. Infact, 70% of our business comes from repeat clients. Hence, the service is not all that bad and I am sure that yours must have been an isolated on. However, having said this, I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and would like to explain why this happened.
The package you had purchased is a high value-high return package. All the directories have been awarded PR 4 and above by Google. And some are even considered as authority sites, like Dmoz. Since these are "free" directories with such high PR, they get 100s of submissions each day. And hence they take a lot of time to approve the submissions they receive. We generally tell our clients that if they go for this package, it might take them upto 6 months to fully realize the benefit from it.
As for the "Web Page Not Found", I am not too sure if we can blamed for this. 100s of sites keep dropping every minute for some reason or the other. Hence, it might have so happened that we submitted your site to these directories one week and it went out of business the other week!
However, I do realize that your experience with us has not been entirely fruitful for you and this gives us a lot of pain. I would thus like to offer you a free upgradation to our best package, submission to 500 free directories. This will help you to get more links from good SEO friendly directories. Few of them might be a PR 0 or 1 today, but they are always promoting themselves and might become a PR 4-5 tomorrow! Hence, it's not that bad an investment. Or, if you want us to compensate you in any other way, please do let me know. We will be very happy to help you out, as this is our way of saying sorry to you!
I would again like to apologize to you and look forward to make good the inconvenience caused!
This is exactly the type of response I would expect from Submit2Please, based on my past experience with the company.
But I think it would be useful if you could address how your company can make itself more accessable in responding to customers like Yan, who seems to have had problems in communicating with your company?
It sounds like Yan was depending on the reponse of just one person at Submit2Please, and with staff turnovers, vacation, etc. this leads to situations where customes may not get the response they need.
Hi Chris,
Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond to this post.
I have seen yan posting negative comments about us (copy/paste) in several blogs. I am not sure why he will not contact us to get his problem resolved and post negative comments in blogs.
We have made an offer of full refund and compensation of five times the fees he has paid us if he can prove that he has "really" been dissatisfied and if we have not taken corrective action to sort the problem out!
Since this gentleman has never contacted us, I am not sure about the genuinity of the complain.

Well, since I have known about your company for several years now and have used your service for clients and my own sites, I think you are seeing the work of a competitor or someone who has some unreasonable problem with you.
If anyone has a problem with Submit2Please and don't feel like they can contact them about it, contact me and I will do what I can to resolve it. I will go so far to say that I may refund your money if Submit2please will not, I am that confident in the ethics of their company.
For those that see negative posts about Submit2Please, keep in mind that the same freedom to share information also allows those with ill-intent to spread uncertainty and doubt when there is a personal agenda involved. When someone posts the same message of complaint over and over it is not a sign that a company has not done right by a customer, but rather that someone is out to hurt a company for reasons real, imagined, or made up. In this case I think the complaint is false and should be disregarded.
In the future I require that complaints be verified with our staff before I publish them. While this type of situation allows Submit2Please to demonstrate their commitment to customer service, repeating this exercise is a waste of all our time when we could be discussing real issues.
Thank you,
Chris Nielsen
